Peter Ollikainen

I help SMEs remove the practical obstacles to growth: what to sell, to whom, at what price, and who delivers it. I have over 30 years of experience in taking products and services to market. I started in product marketing and business development leadership roles at Nokia in Finland, China, Singapore and India. Since 2014, I have worked as a consultant and professional board member for Finnish SMEs across a range of industries. My core expertise covers sales and marketing development, business model and service productisation development, internationalisation and export, and the use of development funding (including ERDF, Business Finland, Eurostars and ESR+). I apply AI in sales and business development, for example in improving sales and tendering processes and in defining and commercialising AI-assisted service concepts. I am a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). I deliver company-specific export coaching and internationalisation programmes as a service provider for the regional Vitality Centres and ELY Centres, including the Export Journey coaching programme and internationalisation clinics. I have served as chair and member of the board in over 15 SMEs, including ownership transition and funding round situations. My aim is to turn a company's growth plan into concrete actions, commercial openings and sustainable growth.
